How We Started

In 2005, FlexPaths was born out of a passion and necessity for flexible work. Its mission was to help employees “get onto a flexible work path” when work or life challenges posed roadblocks, giving them little choice other than to stop working full time. Examples of these challenges could include care taking or spouse relocation when the company wants to retain the talent and allow the employee to work remotely.

One of our goals then (as it is now) was to help companies give employees the flexibility to still work and make contributions while facing life challenges and potential roadblocks. With that vision, FlexPaths expanded to help companies in the flexible workspace, and morphed to looking at how flexible workspaces could be a win-win to companies in terms of costs savings, attracting and retaining talent, boosting their brand and relevance, and creating inclusive work cultures.

Over the last five years, FlexPaths has infused best practice approaches and solutions that resonate with the insurance and financial services industry. It was natural then for FlexPaths to add specialty services for the insurance industry based on depth of experience in this area.
